Aberdeen vs Celtic

Over 2.5 goals
With 6 wins from their last 7 spl matches Aberdeen are the form side in the spl, a win here and Utd losing to Motherwell, would mean the Dons go 3rd. That is some turnaround as only 2 months ago it seemed almost certain Calderwood would leave Aberdeen. Willie Miller and the Aberdeen board deserve a lot of credit for sticking by him as that was not what most of the supporters wanted.
A few weeks back Aberdeen scored 3 fantastic goals to beat Inverness, every one was a quality strike. So with Boruc off form at the moment im sure Jimmy will be telling his side to make sure hes tested.
They have a good partnership up front with Mackie and Miller, its no wonder Rangers are looking at Miller as he is a very good target man with a nice 1st touch. 13 goals between them may not sound like that many but most of them have came in the last 2/3 months.
I like Aluko, hes a tricky player and we know those Celtic full backs are good going forward but dont enjoy players running at them. I expect him to have a big game and he may be worth a bet for man of the match.
Celtic are still top depsite not quite being on great form. I must admit i like seeing teams like Celtic lose soft goals because you know they are always capable of scoring at least a couple against any spl side. So theres a great chance of it going over 2.5.
Boruc has had all his problems, no need to go into that and the back 4 is not the strongest part of the side. We seen Dundee United score twice at celtic park and they possibly could have added 1 or 2 more. McManus is not having as strong a season this year as he did last year and Naylor has totally lost his confidence at left back.
I dont see any reason for Jimmy to fear Celtic. If you are going to get a result against them attacking is the way to go. He is known for being a manager who likes his side to play football and entertain the fans and we seen a fantastic game earlier in the season at celtic park where the Dons were unlucky to lose 3-2.
Ofcourse when you attack Celtic it gives people like McGeady space and we seen a 5 star performance from him in this fixture last season as Celtic won 5-1. Hes made up with Strachan, well maybe not made up but put their differences aside for the club.
Scott McDonald has also returned to form in recent weeks and blasted a fantastic winner in the old firm game.
Should be a great game with loads of goal mouth action at either end.
