Chelsea vs Manchester United

This sports betting tip was written by spkutano on August 8th, 2010 at 12:15

Probable starting eleven:

Chelsea:
Hilario; Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole; Essien, Mikel, Lampard; Kalou, Anelka, Malouda.

Manchester United:
Van der Sar; Neville, Vidic, Evans, O’Shea; Valencia, Fletcher, Scholes, Park; Owen, Berbatov.

It is a big chance for the first trophy in the season for both teams. Just one game and Chelsea or Manchester United will start the season in great style. This final will be played as usual on Wembley. Millenium Stadium in Cardiff was place just when Wembley was under reconstruction. It is expected a good football, but I doubt. There is big presure on the players, and even bigger on both coaches. Sir Alex Ferguson had one of the worst seasons. Manchester United failed to win Premier league, failed to win UEFA Champions league and failed to win FA Cup. So, it will be very important for him and his players to start the new season with a trophy. And there is a perfect opportunity for that. The reason is not because Manchester is better, but because this kind of matches are usually very unpredictable. And Chelsea coach Ancelotti will surely want another trophy. So, I expect a tight battle without much beauty. Both coaches will play tactical, defense first and attack after that. Ferguson decide to start with Owen, while Rooney to play the second half. Ancelotti will start without Didier Drogba. There are some more missing players. Chelsea will be without Petr Cech, Alex and Jose Boswingw, while Manchester will be without Ferdinand, Rafael da Silva, Fabio da Silva and Michael Carrick. Since it is the opening game, I think we won't see an efficient game. So, Under 2.5 goals seems the best option according to me.

Pick : Under 2.5 goals
