Leeds have had a woeful season by their standards and i expect Saints to add to that by knocking them out in this Challenge Cup semi.

Leeds were well beaten by Wigan last week their 9th defeat of the season. Very odd form for a team with so much class but the Rhinos are struggling this year- some players want out and the manager never seems to be happy with what he sees on the park. Their forwards have been a huge dissapointment. If forwards dont control games it makes no difference what quality you have in attack. Field position is vital.

Saints have hardly been at their very best either but we have seen signs of them getting close to their best with wins over Wakey and Warrington. The derby win was so important because the Wolves had been on terrific form. It was Saints of old as they sit in defended well and hit on the break with speed and some fantastic finishing.

These 2 have a lot of history and it is Leeds who seem to get the wins when it really matters- the Grand Final. But in super league and the CC it is Saints who have the upperhand. The sides met a few weeks back at Leeds and the Rhinos got the win. But it was very very lucky because Saints lost both half backs to injury when they were controlling the game and were on the end of a couple of very suspect calls.#

I think revenge will be in the air because of that match, but also because Leeds are champions defeating them in the Grand Final. Saints forwards can control this one and with Wellens and Roby close to their best we see a match winner in either of these players.
