Ive been quite surprised at the way so many in scotland celebrated the news that Celtic had drawn this team. 2nd place finish in Portugal last season and a number of very nice performances in the europa leage. Too many have written them off because it is not a big name- this is unfair.

Celtic had a woeful season last year finishing miles behind a pretty average Rangers side. Lennon did end the season quite well with an old firm victory and and unbeaten run but it seems the media have decided the defeat to lower league opposition in the cup semi final didnt happen.

Hes spent a fair bit of money and to be honest i cant really comment on the players who are coming in because ive not seen them in a top level competitive match. But the new Celtic side did not look up to much in their tour of Amercia and Man U easily swept them aside.

I would say there is still a huge problem in defence and according to the early team news there has also been knocks picked up by both centre backs on this tour. The keeper Boruc has moved on and while he was prone to some crazy stuff he was also a fantastic shot stopper and a guy who didnt lack belief in his own ability. It is a big ask for a younger keeper to take his place, Zalaska will be under pressure.

Braga looked a dangerous side from midfield forward when i watched them last season. Very pacey with good movement. I dont expect them to finish the tie tonight but i do believe we will see them give Celtic enough problems to at least take some sort of advantage to Glasgow for the return leg.
