Castleford v Wakefield

Cas-4.5
Cas have had a terrible season with injuries but with the play offs right round the corner the boss has finally seen an empty treatement room and all his top guys fit. This has- as often happens- resulted in a very nice run of form for Castleford with some fine wins- none more so than crushing a quality Giants outfit.
This is great side to watch, more so at home. They aint called Classy Cas for nothing. The speed and quality they have around the rucks is up there with the best of them and that youth system has certainly paid off with so much talent coming through the ranks. Maybe defence is not their fav part of the game but it has been quite strong in recent weeks certainly a lot better.
Wakey are in a hole, as their boss has admitted many times. Players out of form, low on confidence, playing woeful rugby. We did see them beat Hull last week but really it was as low on quality as i have seen all season. Just simple charges up the middle hope for a break and as Hull put in such a woeful performance- thanks to having their mind on the derby- Wakey got the win.
Just 3 wins in 3 months though its the kind of record you expect from a side at the bottom not one going for super league.
I dont really fancy Wakey in the play offs, on recent form they look possibly the worst side in the league. It is a derby ofcourse so will be fired up to compete but i take Cas as their backline should fire today.
