The Warriors go into this clash with their bitter rivals as favs for the 1st time in a long long time and i expect them to prove the bookies correct by taking the points.

Wigans record in super league is almost perfect- 15 wins in 17. It really is amazing the job their manager McGuire has done. He has them fitter than ever, defending superbly, and looking very dangerous every time they get near the opponents red zone.

Saints are probably not quite at their best at the moment but we know with more good weather and nice pitches it wont be long till they are. I do think they are missing Long but Eastmond is getting better all the time and certainly does not lack confidence.

3rd place 6 points behind Wigan. Its not where most would expect them to be at this point in the season but its not time to panic just yet either.

Wigan should win this one in the forwards. They have been outstanding recently and we can be sure they will be fired up for this one like never before. I expect them to really test Saints with the ball in the air. St Helens have lost a lot of trys recently from kicks and there is no one better at taking the bomb than Pat Richards.

I also think Wigan will single out Pryce and look to attack him as much as possible. He is a super player with ball in hand but he does like to tackle and he can be weak when up against any sort of power. Carmont should profit.
