Northampton +3.5 Saints have been superb at Franklins Gardens this season and as of yet have not lost a home game. Quite amazing for a side who were promoted and whos main aim is to simply stay in the premiership. Last week it was Bristol who were hammered here and with that gap now at 10 points between the sides, i think its almost certain that Northampton will be playing in the top league next season. I like the amount of pace they have in that side and the angles the backs hit. Its very tough to defend against. Myler is having a fine season and controlling things, Foden, Clarke and Diggin are adding some real quality in attack. We all know what you get from Leciester, hard work. Last weeks win over Bath was unbelievable because the Tigers were 2nd best for 65 mins and should have been well out of it. But they never give in, they never know when they are beaten and 2 late trys gave them the victory. There have been a number of pretty average performances by Leciester on their travels lately and we seldom see them throw the ball around and entertain. When the sides met earlier in the season at Welford rd Northampton gave the Tigers a real test, only losing by 10. I think at home, with a huge crowd behind them, the Saints will win this. They have more class at the back of the rucks and although Leicester have the better forwards i believe Northamptons running game will be the difference between the sides as Leciester do not enjoy playing sides with plenty of pace.
