Blackpool hold a slender 1 goal lead for the trip to Forest for the 2nd leg of the play of semi final. 

Their manager has done an amazing job to get them in this position. Bookies and anyone with a clue about this level of football suggested he would be doing well just to keep them in the division but he done that with plenty to spare. A terrific run in the final couple of months mean Blackpool are in the play offs and amazingly thinking about premiership football. They do deserve it this is a good footballing side with epl standard players like a certain Charlie Adam who was surely one of the signings of the season from Rangers for under half a million quid.

Forest are another club with a right good manager at this level. This could be the 3rd time hes taken a side up from the championship. You cannot underestimate how much that means to these clubs with the money involved with even 1 season in the top league. Forest have had some poor results in the last few couple of weeks but are well worth their place in the plays and were maybe a little unlucky that both sides who took the automatic places were of such a high standard.

I cant pick a winner in this game i expect it to be very very close. But one thing we can be sure of is that both teams will give everything and i mean everything to get the result. The chance to go to Wembley and make it to the epl is massive for these players careers but ofcourse also for their bank balance. Thats why i go for a safer bet of plenty of cards. I cant see this game not being tasty with some heavy tackles by both sides and the referee having a very tough night.
