Celtic-6.5

Celtic are getting stronger every week and can continue their good form in the Challenge Cup.

Most expected a poor season from the Welsh side due to the short notice Brian Noble had in getting a side together. But being a top coach with a lot of experience he has had no problems putting a side on the park to compete. 4 wins in super league is a fantastic return. It should also be said we have not seen them take a hammering from any of the top sides. That is amazing given how physical the game is and how much class the likes of Saints and Leeds have in their squad.

We seem them totally outplay Bradford last week and the Bulls are a good side. Not one point scored by Bradford and Celtic in control from 1st minute to last. It was an amazing 80 mins of rugby- one which im sure Brian Noble was delighted with.

Catalans are in a really bad way at the moment. There is little doubt there is quality in their side but they are not playing as a team and the manager is not getting full support. Losing 2 of their best players- Mogg and Burd who returned to the Nrl- hardly helped and there has been an injury crisis since day 1.

We have seen them take a number of heavy beatings on their travels already this season. To be honest at times the Dragons have chucked it and look like a side who dont care as much as they should.

Im sure they will give it their all in this 1 right enough because it is the challenge cup and the chance to win silverware. But i simply cant see past Celtic. They look very strong in defence with a lot of experienced players in their side who know how to win. I expect them to take this by more than 1 score and show once again what a quality side they are.
