Del Potro vs Gasquet - Tennis - Tournament - Tip Preview

It seems just like yesterday that these two players, played each other in the Final of the Mercedes Cup. Now here they are again, facing each other, this time in Tokyo.I remember back then, i had a winning bet on Del Potro.The odds where somewhere around 3.00.Now the odds for a Del Potro win are somewhere around 1.4. From the start i will say that my pick for this match is a Del Potro win.And one of the main reasons for my bet is the excellent form in which the Argentinian player finds himself.He started this tournament with a 7-5 6-0 win over Dudi Sela, a player which was also in a good form, having achieved and played some top tennis in the China Open, just a week before.After Sela, there was Nieminen, who really couldn't step up to Del Potro's level.And yesterday, Del Potro defeated Ferrer with a 6-1 7-5 score. Del Potro is a tall player, which always help for the serve.Then, the ground stokes are simply amazing.Well placed shots, near the lines, and with a lot of power, leave the opponent with no chance.The way i see it, the only player that can create problems to Del Potro is an excellent defender, which can hit the back the ball back over and over again, and cause the unforced error from Juan Martin.Something similar to what Andy Murray managed to produce at this year's edition of the US Open, when he managed to defeat Del Potro 3-1 ( 7-6 7-6 4-6 7-5 ). Only unfortunately,for Gasquet , he is not that kind of player.His more of the "booming" kind, only the thing is that Del Potro, with his deep shots, will allow few chances for Gasquet to control the points and will bring a lot of unforced errors for Gasquet.Now, Gasquest had some convincing results so far in this tournament, 6-1 6-2 with local favourite Kei Nishikori and 6-3 6-2 with Schuettler, but Schuettler is getting old and it's starting to show. The bottom line is that Gasquet , except for that Rogers Cup semi-final didn't have any considerable results on hard courts this season, while Del Potro not only won a tournament in the US but also managed to reach the quarter final of the US Open, where you could see we saw a little tired and Murray was playing top tennis. The way i see it, everything points to a Del Potro win.I'd even dare to say a 2-0 win, but i'll go with a simple match odds win. Odds aren't that great, but still 1.40 offered by VC Bet ( and a few other, Will Hill and StanJames even Betfair ) is a odd which i find attractive.
