Levante vs Salamanca

Levante is playing very good and efficient lately. Last game at home played only 1:1 with Huesca, and before that won 6:1 against Gimnastic. All players are in good form. The goal against Huesca was scored by Xisco Munoz, while six goals against Gimnastic were scored by five different players - Juanlu (twice), Jorge Pina, Javi Guerra, Xisco Munoz and Rafa Jorda. And last week Levante won against Numancia away. The goal was scored by Ruben Suarez. Now coach Luis García Plaza will surely ask the maximum from his players. Levante is just two points from so desired third place and they are serious in intention to qualify for Primera. I think they have a power to do that and a victory here is most important now. On their side is fact that Salamanca is in terrible away form. They are in a series of three defeats in a row:
04. 04. 2010 Girona - Salamanca 1:0
28. 03. 2010 Salamanca - Numancia 1:3
21. 03. 2010 Huesca - Salamanca 2:0
So, all the factors are on Levante side. The quality, the current form, the motivation, the home advantage, everything. That is why I am sure Levante will take three points and continue the fighting for promotion. The good news for Salamca is yesterday Cadiz defeat, so they will be two points above the relegation zone even in a case of defat today. Knowing that Levante is ranked 3rd in home team performance in the Spain Segunda Division, it is not a catastrophe for salamanca to loose. They will look for their chance in home games, specially against lower teams.
