Tenerife return to Primera division after several years in the second and they are actually on 18th place in the relegation zone. They have had problems in front of goal (scored 29 goals in 30 matches). Despite a few summer transactions, the fate of Tenerife falls on the two forwards Nino and Alfaro.  If they can combine and score like last games, Tenerife should be a favorite to stay in Primera.

Valladolid will be hoping to break out of the relegation zone. The visitors were defeated 2-0 by Villarreal at home in previous round. They will try to come out with more aggression but it will be hard task to take some point from Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez. Ever since Valladolid returned to La Liga in the 2007/2008 season, they narrowly escaped relegation both seasons. They are fighting relegation once again.
