Wimbledon 2008 - Grand Slam After winning against Ivanovic, Zheng takes on Szavay today.Most people think that the Chinese player won with luck against the world no.1 Ana Ivanovic.But i can't agree with them.Ivanovic is overrated and a loss against Zheng was something to be expected taking in consideration that Ivanovic could have been kick out by Dechy in the previous round. Now, what is interesting is that Szavay in similar position as Ivanovic was.Szavay hasn't been showing anything spectacular so far.Even more, Szavay could have been eliminated from the competition in the second round by M. Niculescu, but the lack of experience of of the romanian player made her lose the match.In the 3rd round, Szavay also had to struggle with a win in 3 sets. Please note the fact that Zheng won all the matches in straight sets so far. But what is the most important thing from all the fact is the number of unforced errors. In the last match with A Ivanovic, Zheng made only 10 unforced errors and 0 double faults while Szavay in the last match with Medina Garrigues made 31 unforced errors and 8 double faults. If Szavay makes even half of those unforced errors than she will have very little to no chances with Zheng who is a great baseline player and can create many problems. So taking in consideration what i've seen so far from the two players, i can only go with a Jie Zheng win.Yesterday the odds were over 1.80 and i'm quite upset i didn't take them yesterday as there was plenty of value in a 1.80 odd, but Pinnacle still offers 1.72 which is quite a good price.
