Both coaches, Flores from Atletico Madrid and Lotina from Deportivo La Coruna should be satisfied with one point here. So, I decide to take Under 2.5 goals. Why that? Simply because home players are very tired after two hard games against Valencia three days earlier (2:2 in UEFA Europe league) and against Real Madrid one week earlier (lost 3:2 in Primera). And visitors are in one very bad mini series of three defeats (3-0 from Getafe, 2-1 from Sporting de Gijon and 2-0 from Valladolid). The players confidence is very low now and a point here is maximum they are able to catch. But draw is very uncertain, after all it is Primera, not Serie A. Because of that I think Under 2.5 goals is right choice for this game. Even more, both teams are incomplete. Jose Antonio Reyes and Juan Valera are injured, while Luis Perrea is suspended for Atletico Madrid. The situation in Deportivo La Coruna is similar as Juan Dominguez, Ze Castro, Sergio, Pablo Alvarez, Lassad and Adrian are all doubtful because of injuries.

Having on mind that Atletico Madrid is playing second leg in UEFA Europe league against Valencia at Thursday, I am sure coach Flores will think on that game too. Even more, I expect him to rest some of his main stars. So, he may start the game without them, or to make some substitutions during the game. Either way, Atletico won't give the maximum in this game. And in such situation Under 2.5 goals is the best option according to me.
