we have seen nice performances from wakey already this season- they outplayed Leeds and went very close at Saints. I like the speed there is in that side and its fair to say there is a bit more power in the forwards this year. That was always an area which let them down.

But in recent weeks we have seen Warrington play pretty average and put 32 points past them and Giants totally outplay them running in over 50 points. Its pretty clear any time you watch them they cannot defend the right side of the field.

Cas are quite similar. Some nice results- that was a fantastic win in France. But also a lot of very poor defending and mistakes that are not of super league standard. I have to say though they have one of the top attacking players over here in Chase. Once again he is having a terrific season and without being disrespectful im suprised he is not in the NRL with a real top club.

Ofcourse it will be tight early on and with all derby games there will be a bit of bash and smash up front. But i expect this one to really open up 2nd half. While neither side are top names in super league they are sides who will entertain and that do try to play a very attacking game. As i said though neither is great at defending their goal line and both have a horrible habit of turning the ball over close to their own line.
