Croatia are heading into an international friendly against Belgium despite not qualifying for the World Cup and will give coach Slavan Bilic an opportunity to test out the mental strength of his squad as he travels to Belgium tonight.

The Croatian squad is full of top-class talent including the likes of Modric, Corluka, Olic, Eduardo, Srna and Kranjcar. These players have shown good form so far this season with the exception of Eduardo, and all will be looking to cement themselves with a permanent position in the squad with the European Qualifiers commencing towards the end of the year.

Belgium on the other have a few notable absences from the team sheet and are regarding this as just another friendly. Players like Fellaini, Daniel Van Buyten and  Dembele are missing, to add some stability to the young core of Belgian players.

Croatia will be looking to grabbing an away win in an international friendly as a true sign of the progress of Slavan Bilic, or else they could be also looking for a new manager come the European Qualifiers.
