Northampton-2.5

Saints were pretty woeful last weekend at Quins but i think that was down to having one eye on this game. They are sure to be really fired up for this and with the speed they have at the back of the rucks can cover the short start.

Obviously Leicester are a quality side. Very strong in the forwards and with a terrific record of going away from home and grinding out results. It does not get any tougher than this and Saints will have to be on top form to take the points.

I do like Northampton though. There was a time when rugby became very boring to watch with so many sides looking to sneak penalty wins and showing no ambition to attack. That changed when Northampton were promoted and the fact they have gone so far in europe and done so well in the domestic competition proves it was the right way to play.

Their speed and angles are terrific to watch and we know this is the way to beat Leicester. They done it last season by 12 points and having seen that game it should have been more.

The crowd will be right up for this and so will the Northampton players. This is their chance to show once again they are one of the top sides in english rugby and genuine candidates for the title.

It wil be tight early on but id back the speed of Diggan and Myler to make all the difference in the second half.
