Villa-1.5

Villa are on decent form in the epl but it is high time they made their mark in the fa cup and brought some success to villa park. They have such a terrific support, a loyal support, but trophies have been hard to come by, so maybe this will be their year.

Palace have so many problems at the moment and everyone knows about them. 10 pts deducted for going into administration- players leaving or wanting out- now fighting a battle to stay in the championship. Its sad to see a club who were an established epl side not so long ago(and who also made a number of cup finals) in such a mess. They have lost their last 3 in the championship so confidence is not high.

The 1st game was a 2-2 draw which to be fair, Palace could have won. They were excellent but i dont see that being the case at Villa Park. It is a much wider park and a better playing surface. Villa have so much speed in their side and can move the ball quickly from one side to the other. Ive a feeling Palace are going to struggle with their movement and while covering a goal start is never easy- once they get ahead more goals should follow. It will be tight in the opening exchanges but i expect superior fitness to tell in the last 20/30 mins and Villa to take this one by at least a couple.
