A repeat 8th place like last year will by a very hard task for the Andalucians. This season has been different and they are actually in 15th place with 24 points. Along with coach Tapia, some of the important players from the previous season have also left. Malaga will not fare as well as they did last year, and a lower table finish is more likely. The main goal will be to stay in the Primera.  Espanyol go into this game with seven wins, five draws and ten defeats. They beat Deportivo 2-0 in their last home game but they still have problems in front of goal. Los Perequitos have netted only sixteen goals in 22 matches. Before the season, Espanyol looked like a team who could make a strong impression after adding some really good players to their already talented squad. The visitors know that they will have some very difficult games but they try to stay calm and go game by game. 
Most probably it will be a draw.
