Aston Villa will have great confidence of grabbing all 3 points in this fixture after a good draw against Manchester United in the league and have shown that they have the depth in squad to do well as they have already made it to one cup final this season.

They will be buoyed by good performances showed by the defenders like Collins, Warnock, Cueller, Luke Young in the FA Cup this season who will probably play some part in this fixture to give Dunne, Friedel & Petrov a rest from this fixture while giving some of the other players like Delfuenso, Guzan, Carew, Delph a chance to prove themselves for selection ahead of this month’s League Cup Final.

Crystal Palace have been struggling through financial difficulties and this has directly  translated to poor form in the league and along with a 10 point deduction, they have been shoved to the bottom half of the table with full focus on survival.
