Again City let the fans down with a pretty woeful showing at Hull and dropped important points in the battle for 3rd. Its been said many times and everyone can see it- that defence is a shambles- there are players who cost a lot of money that are not worth anything like the transfer paid out.

Just one clean sheet in the last 4 games v bottom of the table Pompey.

Going forward though id say City are about as strong as any side. 20 goals scored in the last couple of months and some right hammerings handed out to Wolves and Blackburn. We also seen the Blues outplay the best side in the league in my view- Chelsea.

 Bellamy is a super player that makes so many chances when he cuts inside from the left wing and Tevez has found his West Ham form. 12 goals for the season now.

I like Bolton they play nice football. I felt a bit sorry for Megson when he lost his job because he had changed their style and he has made them a far better side to watch this year. Sadly though they are probably as poor at the back as any side in the league and thats why Coyle has been brought in to improve the league position and avoid the drop.

44 lost for the season- just silightly under 2 a game- far too high.

They can score them though and we seen a super 1st half display at Arsenal recently. 2-0 up and playing them off the park- it would have been a different game if the ref had not missed a really bad tackle on the lead up to Arsenals 1st goal.

Liverpool on 30th Jan (lost 2-0) was the 1st away game they have failed to score in since way back in Aug.

This lad Cohen has been out of the best players in the epl so far. Very direct, plenty of skill and he can score goals. Klasnic is out though which is a blow but Bolton do have decent cover and possibly we will see Wilshere get a start tonight. His pace would trouble City on the break.

The sides played out an amazing 3-3 at Bolton in Dec and while we might not see as many goals tonight i still expect a nice game. Having played on Saturday with only a short break id expect a bit of tiredness from both defences in the last 30 mins.
