Manchester United vs Chelsea - Football - England - Premier League - Tip Preview

The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here.Moscow will host the 2007-2008 season Champions League Final in which Manchester United will play Chelsea. From the start i have to tell you that i'm taking Manchester to lift the Cup. The way i see this match is a game more between the two managers, than the actual players.And i have to ask a simple questions.Which of the two managers is the more experienced one and more likely to succeed? I bet you that 9/10 neutral people that you ask will answer Alex Ferguson.I think that the tactics that Ferguson will adopt for this match will be much more effective than Grant's tactics.When i say this i have in mind some of the matches that Chelsea have played in the Premier League.Chelsea was in a must win position in many of the last matches this season (in the hope to catch Manchester) but failed to take a win , despite the fact that the match was there for the taking.A prefect example would be a match with Bolton, or let's take a more appropriate example which is the match with Wigan.Chelsea were 1-0 up and than decided to defend the results and only hit on counter attack.Well Wigan (lucky or not) managed to score the equalizer. I saw that some people point out the Chelsea - Manchester United match in the Premier League.I really don't think that match has any relevance to this match, as Manchester was more concentrated on the Champions League match they had to play at the time against Barcelona and let's just look at the way the winning goal was scored.A penalty.That says a lot.Overall in that match Chelsea was the better team, but Manchester wasn't at it's full potential, so that is why i regards that match as irrelevant. Looking at the Manchester line up or the potential line-up i have to say that almost in every position there is a top player.Most expect a great game from Cristiano Ronaldo, but he is known for under-performing in the important matches, mostly because he is "well taken care of " by the defenders.But i do expect Rooney, Tevez, and all the other Manchester United players to step up and make a great game. On the other side, Chelsea don't really look like a unified team , the way that Manchester does.When things go wrong there is chaos in the team.A perfect example would be the free kick in the match against Manchester United in the Premier League , when D. Drogba and M. Ballack could not come to an agreement on who should take the free kick.That tells you a lot about a team. I don't expect Manchester to have an easy match here tonight, but i do expect them to win.The odds are around 1.80, a fair enough price if you ask me.But anything under 1.78 i really wouldn't consider taking.My stake is a medium to high one.Good Luck!
