Phil Taylor looks to retain his crown at the Players Championship in Purfllet and i expect him to book his place in round 3 with an easy win over Jenkins.

Jenkins is a decent player- he did really threaten to become one of the top names in darts a couple of years back but for one reason or another he lost his way a little and lost some confidence. There is little doubt though that he was hit a double and if he could just up his scoring slightly its possible we will see him move back up that ladder.

Phil is on fire at the moment- well is he ever off form ? Its quite amazing the way the guy performs to such a high standard at almost every tournament and although many will say darts is not the toughest sport- he does put in the hours of practice and has a wonderful attitude.

15 world titles that is simply awesome.

We seen him stroll through round 1 against Manley no problems- while Jenkins was very lucky needing a decider to beat Van Der Voort.

I liked how Taylor said he had as much desire as ever before this one kicked off. Hes not in the sport for the money he loves it and he loves to win and be successful. I dont see any problems for the Power covering 4 start tonight. It is 1st to 8 and ofcourse it is saturday night- the fans will be right behind him enjoying their beer- so he will want to put on a show for the majority of the crowd who will be there. Im sure he will.
