Back to the Spanish Primera Liga in matchday 19 sees a surging Atletico Madrid side travel to Getafe, who stunned Mallorca in the Copa Del Rey on Wednesday. Getafe have had a very promising campaign up to date and I certainly would not rule out a Europa League birth come end of season. Their home form reads 6-0-2 including recent humblings whereby they thrashed struggle Malaga and Xerez by a heavy scoreline. They have now scored fourteen goals in their last four home matches and I certainly expect them to bounce back in the league, after going down to 16th placed Malaga last week.

Athletico Madrid have been better of late, especially since the return of key striker Kun Aguero. However, they remained a liability at the back and I could say, Sporting Gijon would be kicking themselves for not taking their chances at the Vincente Calderon. Go for the home side to pick up the points here, sending the visitors to their sixth away defeat of the season!
