This looks one of the ties of the round and with home advantage and a couple of terrific results under their belts i believe we will see another terrific performance from the side most had down as outsiders for qualification.

2 wins though over top class sides, Stade and London, mean there is a real chance of them going to the knock out quarter final stage. We will see a terrific crowd down there who wont care about early kicks. Add ofcourse the old Wales v England rivalry, the place will be rocking.

I would be too worried about the ML form which has not been terrific. Sometimes in rugby teams will put all their eggs in one basket and when its the HC not a lot else matters.

Irish did have a terrific season last year in which they probably deserved to win the title. They were the best side to watch for most of the year but simply ran out of steam when it really mattered. This year they are desperate to go one better but it has to be said that defeat to today opponents was a shocker and one you get the feeling they will live to regret.

This match is so tough to call a winner so that is why i take the Welsh with a healthy advantage. I honestly wouldnt rule out a draw because the slight advantage Irish have in class and power may will be cancelled out by the desire/ fight  we are sure to see from Scarlets.

Both sides have some amount of pace in their side so despite the importance it will still be high scoring. I would guess though that one drop goal or penalty kick will be the difference at time up so that is why i take the home side with a cap i believe to be slightly high.
