Benjamin Becker vs Juan Ignacio Chela

Well, I'm just not convinced to few veterans still on tour. In my opinion it's pretty upsetting that they don't realize that in their age after long and intense career they are unable to raise tennis level from old years. Still great experience, hawk eye, flashes of old brilliance, but most of the time it's just not enough to pass through players, players even like Benji Becker. Becker maybe isn't a virtuous player, but poses nice firepower, damaging ground-strokes and pretty nice serve. German slowly was building his ranking and no matter to who he lost through the years I wouldn't say Chela isn't in his range right now. Week ago I don't know what happened, he had Karlovic on the edge of knife and lost the match, hell knows how he menage to do that, in my opinion it was already won. Still serve was working, some ground strokes looked pretty nice. Chela on other hand more from Bellucci goofiness than own game was able to bite a set from him week ago. He is a clay courter and now with years on his shoulders hard is even harder to play on. Becker isn't great but right now I see it pretty equal, Becker have advantage in power, Chela should do some damage on baseline. Should be tight and games over looks good, although as I'm not convinced to Chela ability to play good tennis anymore, especially on hard I will say Becker will edge this one by 2:1 score.
Pick : Becker 2:1
