Birmingham vs Manchester United

This sports betting tip was written by r3ds on January 9th, 2010 at 16:45

Already seven of this weekend's Premier League fixtures have been postponed due to bad weather and with the other games, I expect the home sides to have the advantage. Traveling in such inconvenient weather must have an adverse effect on the visitors. Birmingham are unbeaten in eleven top flight matches and if they do escape a defeat to the Devils today, they will achieve a new record. Manchester United though are not as mighty as they were in the previous campaign. The loss of Ronaldo have minimised their attacking options and at times this season, they do look out of sorts.

Vidic will sit out for the visitors for the trip to the Midlands whereas for the home team, Alex McCleish will likely field the same eleven for the ninth consecutive match. Birmingham may not have beaten the Red Devils since 1968 but I do seriously believe they do have a genuine chance this evening. A couple of weeks ago, Birmingham also did hold leaders Chelsea to a 0-0 draw at St Andrews. The wheels are already coming off for Manchester United and with four losses on the road thus far, I doubt their credibility to win today.
