Rafa Nadal vs Nikolay Davydenko

This sports betting tip was written by Sankekur on January 9th, 2010 at 10:48

It's going to be a match of new season, we had few really interesting shows so far but here I bet we will see top class tennis. There's a lot of enthusiastic opinions that Russian once again easily will send home El Toro. I don't really believe it will happen, even if I cheer for Kolya, I got different vision on this clash. Most of the people base their bets on Davydenko due to his easy win with Federer. Well winning with Federer is always a big win, but as someone who was watching a match I can tell it wasn't a real test, Federer was giving some serious presents, there was no fight when pressure was raising and no genius trials, in stead safe balloons to mid court area that Davy was finishing easily. Federer had his chances in second set and in my opinion he didn't use them because of own fuss rather than Russian game. Davydenko was solid, consistent and he deserved to win but it wasn't a dominant win or real test of Kolya form. Nadal wasn't tested here either. Played players way below his class and outplayed them easily. In Abu Dhabi he showed no mercy, although it's hard to say how serious players were taking this exhibition. From what I saw, Nadal used well the season break and he is back, he is one step from Indian Wells form in 2009 and he is raising again, player like him won't stand humiliation from Davydenko again and he will use all his fighting spirit to make it not happen. Davydenko was complaining about his physical condition, apparently he felt tired in 2'nd set with Roger and I believe that if this match will go into 3 sets Nadal will win for sure. Both played very well this week and I expect Davydenko to take first serve but after that Nadal's stamina and endurance will follow and Davydenko won't follow Spaniard like he was in London last year. If match will be a 3 setter I'm pretty sure Nadal will survive this.

Pick : Nadal to win 2:1 in sets
