I don't see such big advantage on Russell side, for me it's a draw with slight bigger chance on Amritraj side as he is playing home and already got used to surface/new season after going through qualification pretty smoothly. Both are kind of journeyman players, that enjoy tennis as a way to travel, experience and enjoy life, both never had great successes in the sport, Amritraj never even went into top 100 and Russel 2 years ago was close to top 50. Still Indian man through last two season those few times I remember his name on ATP tours was showing some fair tennis, last season he was completely flat after first quarter of the year where still he was going through first round occasionally. New season should bring him some more hopes and it seems that again Prakash will start pretty good for player like him as during qualification he played pretty nice tennis, first he won thriller with young Canadian talent Polansky, who beat during US Open Russell, and then with even more confidence he beat Lars Poerschke earning entrance to main draw of Chennai tour. Serve seems to work well for him and percentage of points won when he puts first ball in is pretty good for someone classified around 200'th place in ATP. Although he was born and lives in USA, still he represent India, and home crowd tries their best to give mental help to players representing their country. Russell won challenger on indoor hard just by the end of 2009 but I don't rate him much higher than Indian. Should be pretty tight and I think 2-1 for Prakash sound fair, odds are nice and even with though bet it's worth to take Amritraj in my opinion. Good Luck!
