Ht- Draw Ft- Rangers.

The Gers are playing some fantastic football at the moment and look a good bet to be champions this season in Scotland.

Last weekend many, me included, felt 3rd place Hibs would give them a game, but outside of the 1st 20 mins it was a complete hammering and one of Rangers most simple wins of the season. 4-1 should really have been 5 or 6 with Boyd on top form as usual and the often underrated Kenny Miller grabbing another double. 6 goals in 3 games for the Scotland striker- so much for him not scoring enough goals.

Rangers also look solid at the back. I think they have the best keeper in the spl by some distance in McGregor and although hes almost 40 captain David Weir continues to perform to a very high standard despite the lack of pace With Bougherra out Danny Wilson should come in but this lad is a quality defender- Spurs have already shown an interest depsite only a handful of appearances for the Gers 1st team.

Dundee United are on course for 3rd. We have seen a bit of a blip in recent weeks and a very disspointing couple of performances against Killie and tonight opponents Rangers(lost 3-0) but this a side with plenty of quality who have given both old firm clubs some real frights at ibrox and parkhead.

Their midfield is full of guys who can pass the ball which is ofcourse vital in Glasgow in front of the huge crowd and they are known for having one of the best defences in the spl.

I expect Rangers to win this game and give themselves a massive 10 point lead for that old firm game at celtic park. But despite their form being excellent i dont see this game being easy and against a packed defence it may take a while to break Utd down.

Thats why i believe these are super odds on the game being a draw at ht and Rangers winning it by ft. I must say i find it very strange that a side can be 1/4 to win a game of football, short short favs, but 4/1 if it takes till half time for them to make the breakthrough. Its bizarre but very generous indeed.

More goals are scored 2nd half and against a side who do defend well ive a feeling this will be tight until later on when possibly Rangers speed from the bench, Naismith or Novo, come on to win the 3 points.
