I think Liverpool can win this match. Here are the reasons:

1. Aston Villa lost two days ago at Emirates. Arsenal trash them 3:0 and this result will surely affect Aston Villa players, and most their confidence.

2. Liverpool is catastrophic this season, out of Champions League, out of Carling Cup, out of the race for the title. The fact is that Liverpool fans are already tired of waiting the Premier League title. But soon or later Liverpool will start to play better. The good impuls came at this weekend, when Liverpool won against Wolverhampton 2:0. So, I believe Liverpool will continue that way.

3. Martin O' Neill will play without winger Ashley Young, who collected his fifth yellow card against Arsenal. I think it is a big handicap for Villa. Plus, Heskey get injured on the same game and probably will be out for today match.

4.Liverpool has excellent record against Aston Villa at Birmingham. Not a single loss in 21 century, it is something that we must respect. Here are the results:
