What can we say about Liverpool? They are catastrophic this season, out of Champions League, out of Carling Cup, out of the race for the title. The fact is that Liverpool fans are already tired of waiting the Premier League title. But the most interesting fact is as Liverpool continue to struggle and move away from the top of the table, couch Rafa Benitez is setting new and new targets. First the Reds were supposed to be fighting for the title. Everybody hope this wil be a season in which Liverpool will take their first Premiership title since 1990. Last season Liverpool ended as second and was competitive until the finish. Instead of that, we have a depressing sequence of just four wins in their last 17 matches in all competitions. Everybody are dissapointed except Benitez. When it became clear the Premiership title will remain just a dream, Benitez ensured everyone his side will finish in top four. After the last bad results, maybe he should focus on UEFA Europe league place. But the question is if it is enough. The fans want title and nothing less. For example, Manchester City boss Hughes are dissmissed even his team is better then Liverpool at the momment. So, why Benitez is still in charge - because he is a master of manipulations. But the fans like him very much and seems his position is out of question. The anger will probably be focused on owners, american duo Hiks and Gillettte. 

But even a pathetic Liverpool must win against Wolves as everything else might produce a spectacular changes in the club. The players must give their maximum from very first minute.In such situation I believe Liverpool can win with three or more goals difference. Torres will lead the attack and it is a perfect opportunity for him and for the skipper Gerrard to wake up and score. 

It is interesting to mention that Wolverhampton couch Mick McCarthy rested 10 first team players at his last visiting game against Manchester United. He lost the game with result 3:0 and received criticism from the media and some fellow managers (of course sir Alex Ferguson was not among them) and it will be interesting to see which players McCarthy picks for today game. I wont be surprised if McCarthy do the same now for two reasons. First, he will again rest his best players for next game (just two days later Wolverhampton play home against  Manchester City), and second, he will proof that he didn't do enything unussual.

At the end of my preview, I will show Wolverhampton last three games as visitor. Two of them Wolves lost with more then two goals. I think it will be the same today:
