Wembley stadium hosts today the F.A. Cup Final between Portsmouth and Cardiff. So far, both team have done exceptionally well to reach this stage.But, we have to admit that it is a bit of surprise to see Cardiff here.Teams like Wolverhampton Wanderers , Middlesbrough FC and Barnsley in the semi-final were all taken by surprise by Cardiff. Portsmouth will be looking to win the Cup as that would book them a seat for next season's UEFA Cup.They played very well this season in the F.A. Cup and always looked like a strong team.And with players like Defoe, Kanu, Sol Campbell and David James (just to name a few) it's hard not to be a top contender. In the Premier League season, Portsmouth finished on 8th place.Only the disturbing fact is that their last five matches were without a win, but taking in consideration the fact that they had nothing to play for, you really can't blame them.Now it's time for them to give their best and i think they will be up to the challenge. Cardiff on the other side has already had a great F.A. Cup tournament, and i think that second place is more than they have ever expected.Of course they will play the match with the hope of winning the Final, but i think that the lack of experience and talent of the players will make the difference in Portsmouth favor. I backed Portsmouth to win the Final.I've place a large stake. But be aware; despite the fact that i placed a large stake i do not expect an easy match for Portsmouth.It is a Final, keep that in mind (so both team will give their best), but in the end i can see only one team to lift the trophy. Some may argue that the odds aren't that great, but i disagree, any odds over 1.30 are worth taking for this particular bet. Good Luck!
