Valencia vs Real Madrid

This sports betting tip was written by spkutano on December 12th, 2009 at 13:17

Probable starting eleven: (source: Goal.com)

Valencia:
Cesar; Bruno, Navarro, Dealbert, Mathieu; Albelda, Marchena; Joaquin, Mata, Pablo; Villa

Real Madrid:
Casillas; Ramos, Pepe, Albiol, Arbeloa; Alonso, Lass, Marcelo; Van der Vaart; Higuain, Benzema

I don't see a clear favorites at this meeting and I think that draw the most realistic outcome. The main reason lies in the fact that this is a hot derby and that both coaches, Unai Emery from Valencia and Pelegrini from Real Madrid will be satisfied to remain undefeated. For Emeri because it is always success to remain undefeated against galacticos from Real Madrid. Everyone is aware how strong Real is, and don't forget that two season ago Valencia lost 1:5 by the same opponents. On the other hand Pelegrini must be happy with one point bearing in mind that this is a difficult away games. Last season Real lost heavily with 3-0. Something like that will probably mean Pelegrini resignation now.

Still something that is important for this meeting are absencees. Valencia will perform wihtout one of the best players David Silva. Maybe he is overshadowed by the best striker David Villa, but he is a very important player and for coach Emery will be difficult to find an adequate replacement. On the other side Pelegrini has also a headache. Christiano Ronaldo is suspended and Kaka is injured. Without them, Real certainly will not be able to play at required level, but again, no one would dare to underestimate Real. And Valencia home form isn't too good, as three out of the last five meetings at Mestalla stadium finished with draw. Here are the results:

02.12 UEFA L Valencia-Lille 3:1 (2:0)
28.11 SPA 1 Valencia-Mallorca 1:1 (0:0)
10.11 CUP Valencia-Alcoyano 2:2 (2:1)
08.11 SPA 1 Valencia-Zaragoza 3:1 (3:0)
22.10 UEFA L Valencia-Slavia 1:1 (0:1)

As conclusion, I think everyone will be satisfied with a draw here.
