Newcastle travel to struggling Coventry in search of 3 points that would help open up a 7 point gap between them and second place West Bromwich Albion. The Magpies have been in fine form this season led by some of their Premiership failures from last year including Stuart Taylor, Nicky Butt, Kevin Nolan, Colocini, Alan Smith, Lovenkrads, Amoebi, Caroll and Harewood. With the depth of talent on offer at Newcastle, it hard to see them not get back to the Premiership the first time of asking. Coventry on the other hand have been struggling and me sitting in Coventry at the moment, I can tell you that the town folk are not too thrilled about the performances of the team recently. They have failed to win in their last 5 at home, which if you want to try and get promoted, home should be a fortress. Coventry have several injured players as well as suspensions leaving the manager not many options for player selection when it comes to this mid-week fixture. Overall Newcastle have the momentum on their side and the motivation to grab this big lead and they should win it comfortably.
