Salernitana currently occupy the last position in the Serie B and things are not looking that rosy for them at the moment. Home form has not been a help for them this season(1-1-5), and if they continue to go down to teams that easily, disaster could spell for them, come end of season. Despite Empoli's poor away record of only one win, they have been on a good run of late and coupled by Salernitana's abysmal record vs the top five sides this season, whereby they have have lost 4/5 of the those to nil. Empoli are certainly looking the real deal at the moment, losing only once over their last ten games in the league, which has placed them in a prime position for promotion into the big stage next season. The important fact for this game lies on Salernitana having kept only two clean sheets thus far, with 11/16 of those games conceding two goals or more.
