Only 1 point on the road for kilmarnock so far this season- so a defeat here with Falkirk taking something at home to Rangers- would see them drop to bottom of the spl. Its a massive game the biggest of the season so Jefferies should have his men really fired up for it.

They did play ok last week against Hearts and as the manager has pointed out this his been the problem all season-not taking their chances. The build up play is good and the defence not too bad but they simply cant put the ball in the net often enough and take control of a game when they are the better side.

We did see them beat Saints 6 weeks back though, Kevin Kyle gave them a torrid time at rugby park, scoring twice and battering their centre backs in any time the ball was in the air. Im sure that will be a tactic today.

Saints are 5 points ahead of Falkirk so manager McIness will be delighted with that return in Dec. Ofcourse 2 defeats and a couple of wins for the chasers turns things right around but many would have felt the Perth club would be the ones at the bottom.

They do play good football and score goals but i worry about their defence. 25 goals lost 11 at home its a bit high. There is a problem with cross balls and simple long balls up the middle and as i said that was the difference when they lost at rugby park.

Being a vital game at the bottom of the league this is sure to be very tight with both sides playing not to lose. I would expect there is a very good chance of this being a draw but having seen these odds i think they are pretty decent given the experience Killie have in their squad and the fact that Saints would probably be very happy to remain 4 points ahead at the end of the weekend.
