Sharks have the top spot in the table right now, with 2 points more than no. 2 team from Pittsburgh. They look really solid and last two wins over Vancouver 4:2 and Edmonton 5:4 (after penalties) shows their pulling points even from tight match ups. They have offensive potential and in most of their matches we see around 5 or more goals. They were even able to put 5 goals against Pittsburgh, so I think they will have to do the biggest job to cover this over. Senators struggle this season with transferring good performances into good results. They are a good team, but a little bit behind this season. Unfortunately. They are 15'th in the table, but played 4 less matches than Sharks in the conference. They really can't find their rhythm on away matches. What is worrying their were struggling lately to put more than one goal on away match up. Why over 5.5 then? Because odds are too high especially when we check goal keepers line-up for tonight. Both goalies tonight are second squad defenders with small experience and skills. Greiss in SJS will play only his 4'th match on ice tonight, and this guy didn't had much occasions to get used to performing for this team. Elliot, from Ottawa have a little bit more experience but his performances where always shaky and sometimes he lets really easy shots in, I wouldn't trust him he will be any good especially under Sharks pressure. In my opinion Sharks will use a lot the fact goalkeeper is pretty out of game for Ottawa. If they want to build up advantage over Penguins they have to use weaknesses of teams like Ottawa. Personally I count that Senators will show past power and bite a little bit and scare Sharks, it's been a while since they had nice game away and I hope tonight both sides will go forward putting in few goals!
