Brighton vs Charlton

Brighton are just hovering above the drop zone but thankfully for them, the much needed 3-2 victory over Rushden in midweek helped relieve some pressure, at least temporary. Charlton will be the visitors at Albion and I really do believe that they will finally clinch their first away win in nine games. After an inconsistent last month or so, Charlton have notched up two thumpings in recent weeks and should be too much for the home side, who have a woeful record against the top sides in this division. Brighton's last two league fixtures was against Norwich and Leeds, whereby they lost by three goal margins on both ocassions. Almost halfway into the season, Brighton do conceded an average of 1.90 goals per match and that is simply too poor for comfort.
Many experts believe that Charlton will have what it takes to win back immediate promotion to the Championship next season. Charlton and Leeds are easily a level above the rest of the playing field and if these two can increase their lead over the chasing pack, they will be safe. Another reason why the visitors should win the game at Albion is mainly the fact that the home side only had three rest days, almost half that of Charlton. Away win here.
