Real Madrid have more troubles than it seems on the surface. In their last three games, Madrid only just managed to brush aside small sides such as Zurich, Racing and Alcoron. They have been relatively toothless up front for some time now, and the ineffective Raul has not been as productive compared to before. As for their most expensive player Ronaldo, he would not make much difference with him returning from injury. The 2-3 away victory at Athletico was the first away win for them in five, but many are still unconvinced over their form.

Some may say that Barcelona over rely on the likes of Messi and Henry but in actual fact, their all rounded squad is more than capable of beating their close rivals even if the former is injured. The key to the game lies in the midfield and whoever comes out top, would have the say in the dicatating of the game. If Barcelona managed to brush aside Inter Milan quite comfortably, an unorganised side like Madrid would certainly pose lesser of a threat in this El Classico clash. Home team to win!
