Madrid or the draw.

Neither side is on fantastic form at the moment and with Barca still missing a couple of top players- Madrid are good value not to lose.

Madrid were pretty poor in the CL in midweek only beating a very average Zurich side by 1-0. The fans were upset and a bit angry but the one plus point was the return of the worlds top player- Ronaldo.

The league record is excellent 9-1-1. We know what a terrific side they are from midfield forward- thanks to the millions invested- but possibly most importantly the defence has been pretty solid. I guess its fair to say if Madrid can continue to defend as they have been that attack will score goals against any side and a CL-La Liga double is possible.

Barca are still missing Messi and one or two others- but there was no problems midweek as they overpowered Inter to take control in that group. From 1st min to last it was one way traffic and they too should be through to the knock outs.

I must say though Barca have not been great in recent weeks in the domestic competition. It may sound a strange thing to say but they look a little tired and jaded. Im not sure why its early in the season but fitness does seem to be a slight problem.

I expect this one to be very tight and despite all the quality on show- low scoring. Thats why i see super value on Madrid not to lose the game because with things so close at the top of the table- a draw would be no disaster for either side.
