I kinda like in both NBA and NHL to look for breakouts, getting out of pattern, looking for solutions that haven't appeared in a while. When I think about teams on ice from New York city, it always brings me solid defense and fairly often draws (especially when I'm looking closer to specific clashes I want to tip) on home ice. What is interesting Rangers didn't draw even once this season at home, and tonight they are strong favorites in match where Panthers in my opinion have some chances. So we have Rangers (season record: 11-10-0) with Panthers (Season record: 9-9-2) on New Yorkers ice. Lundqvist (GAA 2.54) and Vokoun (GAA 2.76) will be the guys that hopefully will keep in piece both teams scoring area. In my opinion it will be the most tight match of tonight NHL events, and I think Rangers shouldn't be favorites in this match and if the match will go into dramatic scenario like penalties I see more arguments on Panthers side. But still I don't have guts to say that Panthers are worth betting, it looks pretty equal and draw sounds like a fair solution for this match. Rangers after good season start lately are playing quite poor, even team spirit Gaborik is not so effective. Florida is the opposite, they had bad times and now it seems they trying to get out from the crisis. Wins with Detroit or Boston show that. Teams from New York like to stronghold game on home matches and I think Panthers won't find a way to jump over that and still Rangers a little bit flat lately won't be bothered to storm too much the Florida side. And that thing that we haven't see a draw in New York for so long, ah, let's try it!
