I was watching last night clash of Hawks with Rockets and I'm not convinced that Atlanta will hold great record (7 wins in a row, 11-2 overall). Something wasn't actually right in their game, they were too flat, they had much of luck of having Smith who decided in last second that they will be a winning team. Besides that they were playing yesterday day and after really short period of time they had to travel from Atlanta to New Orlean. I'm sure after fairly hard match with Rockets and long journey Atlanta will be tired and it never works well for a team, when instead of rest they have to pack up and run to next round match. The key players of Atlanta were playing really long and their performance is a question. Joe Johnson was on a field over 45 minutes, that's too long to keep him fresh in my opinion. Williams around 40 minutes, Bibby up for over 3 full quarts. Those guys were really giving it all with Rockets, Johnson was playing on really high level, and Williams was throwing a lot and I think they won't be able to repeat it against Hornets. Hornets had some bad times, but even without Chris Paul lately they are getting in back and from bad 3-8 record they chasing they good times and right now stand with 5-8, and it is impressive as last two teams were strong favorites against them. I'm only worried that we might now see Thornton on field tonight, who is on real fire, throw 19 points against Suns. Okafor and Stojakovic seems they found past form and they were really great in last matches, great 3 pointers effectiveness. Brown and Collison guarded well and it seems that Hornets reserves really want to show that it's not all about Chris Paul. If Thronton will play and rest of the boys will be on fire it will be very hard match for Atlanta, especially that Hawks might be really tired after Rockets. I don't think Atlanta poses that kind of skills that will allow them to jump over tiredness and besides again I got a feeling that this streak will be over. C'mon Hornets!
