Houston vs Phoenix - Basketball - NBA - Tip Preview

Phoenix Suns have been on high octane power from the beginning of this season and after a momentary lapse with a loss against the Lakers, they have managed to restore back their wins by beating the Raptors on Sunday night.

The Suns look to be the first team in the NBA to reach 10 wins, which will give them tremendous confidence of making the playoffs after a season of disappointment last season.

All the things are going good for the Suns and all 5 of their starters have hit form early on in the season with special mention of Channing Frye who has moved from a bench role in his career to a starting berth and making valuable contributions averaging 13.5ppg and 5.7 rpg, which is much better than his previous career average.

The Rockets on the other hand are a mixed bag, they have been 6-4 for the season, with mixed performances which is not too bad with their 2 All-Star players McGrady and Yao missing for the first half of the season.

Trevor Ariza has been quite in-different this season so far, but Aaron Books has been trying to step up to the plate especially after his contributions in the last few outings.

Houston have a problem with their interior defence, and while Phoenix doesn't have a great defence, themselves, they have been steadily improving with Louis Amundson, Jaron Collins and Channing Frye.

Phoenix Suns will be looking to continue their good form with another victory here with an away victory against the younger in-experienced Houston team.
