Coleraine have now won three league matches on the bounce, as they gradually ascend up the standings. A massive 6-0 away win at Glentoran and an equally impressive 4-1 victory over high flying Crusaders have really been the icing on the cake. They have now averaged two goals per game in the league for five matches now and if they can cut down on the number of goals being let in, I cannot see why they would not be challenging at the top more often. Despite their recent league success, inconsistency in cup competitions have really been a contradiction whereby many are confused upon.

Glenavon are currently five points ahead of the home team, heading into this match and I just see signs of complacency and unrest i their camp. They did start off the season in flying form but six matches without a win is really an appalling indication for them. Moreover, a minimum of two goals have each been conceded in all of those win less games and with the home team always so strong at home, I cannot see the home side letting this opportunity slip away.
