Real Betis are eighth in the table at the moment, after a string of draws. They were initially ranked higher but due to the recent slump, they have found themselves lower than where they should be. Moreover, Real Betis have played four of their previous five matches away from home, which must have been really taxing on them. Their opponents Celta are on a mini revival as they are starting to find their feet after the early season disaster. In the midweek Copa Del Rey clash with primera liga side Tenerife, Celta manage to trump, qualifying for the fifth round of the cup.

Celta were not as inconsistent last season but if they can maintain their good vein of form now, I cannot see why they cannot challenge for a top five placing. Moreover, only a quarter of a season has passed and there is still ample time for them to make a statement. The odds are stacked highly against the visitors from gaining anything out from this match but judging by recent head to head encounters at Betis, Celta will not go down that easily.
