I am very sure Hercules will be promoted this season mainly because they always seem to be banging on the doors year in year out. They finished forth last year, just missing out on promotion to the primera liga. They are very deadly in their attacks and defensively, they are able to cut down the number of goals conceded. This season alone, they top the segunda division with only a mere 7 goals conceded to opposing teams. A win today will propel to second in the standings, a point behind leaders Cartagena, who will play later this evening. Hercules head into this game after a breath taking 1-0 away victory at fellow primera liga side Almeria. In short, the home side are in confident mood entering this match and with their proud record of 7 wins in their last 8 games, it seems unlikely that Numancia will come away with anything today.

Numancia did endure a disappointing season in the top division in 08/09 and for this season, they have started too sloppily for my liking. They are currently sitting in 10th place and are in touching distance from the leaders but unless they up their ante, I do not think they will regain their status as a top league side next year. A home win beckons here.
