After what Djokovic presented against Nadal we couldn't expect any other odds. Nadal, in my opinion, was playing just below the good level he out played Tsonga, but against Serb who was catching lines, hitting winners from any position on court and was aggressive all the time Spaniard would struggle even if he played twice better. Novak definitely played best match of the week, and it been a while since the last time I saw Serb so smooth. Can he repeat it? Well, in my opinion he should win this event, he got skills, experience, all on his racket. Monfils, even playing home, I think, isn't ready taking such thing on his shoulders. He is is fast, athletic, strong but still below Serb skills. In my opinion he got power to bite a set from Serb, especially that I got impression that Novak puts his game much higher playing against great trio of Nadal, Murray and Federer, but against players from top like Monfils, but in general rated as weaker, Novak underestimate them and don't play so brutally and perfect. Gael in my opinion in a rush might take set here, but I saw him few times when after great effort which taking a set from Djokovic playing like this sure will be, he just goes flat and loses his physical dynamics. Djokovic was a little bit inconsistent against Clement and Soderling and I think he will sleep for one set. Probably first set will be very equal, but I'll say that Monfils will win high the second, as Novak, like he did against Verdasco few weeks ago, he just turns off, catches a breath to strike again in 3'rd. Of course Monfils might collapse under pressure and Djokovic play on same or even higher level than he did against Nadal and just kill poor French man, but I think after such tremendous performance he will lose a little bit from machine level and we will see three set battle which will end up with Serbian victory. It's hard to find a value in this match, games handicap is tricky due to Novak attitude to sleep over one set, over is high possible but also Novak might drill into the court Monfils, high odds and quite big in my opinion probability of 2:1 victory for Serb make me to do it! Thumbs up for Novak in London.
