Getafe's President has been very pleased with his teams start to the season after enduring mixed fortunes last season. They have one of the better defences in the league and you seldom see them conceding a hatful of goals but away from home, they are not as reliable compared to home matches. Espanyol has been one of the most disappointing teams in 09/10, mainly because many pundits had the belief that they will finally perform to their capabilities this season. It promised to be an enterprising season with them, especially with the new stadium.

For Espanyol's league season, they have only managed to obtain maximum points in one of their last six games. In the first leg against Getafe, they were defeated 2-0. Espanyol really need a miracle in order to progress to the next round of the Copa Del Rey and although I think they will win today, they will find it a step too far to overturn the deficit, knowing that the away goal ruling is in place.
