Juventus were unlucky to be un-done last week in the Serie A. They came to a surprise defeat on the weekend after being up 2-0 and then losing 3-2 to Napoli, but manage to resolve some pride in the away victory to Maccabi Haifa in mid-week in the Champions League and will be looking to build on that momentum as they head into this fixture against Atalanta. Juve's difficulties still continue because of the absence of key players Del Piero, Vincenzo Iaquinta, Jonathan Zebina and Mohammed Sissoko. They will once again need to depend on Diego, Trezeguet and Camoranesi, much like they did in mid-week against Haifa. Atalanta are also suffering some bad form after 2 successive defeats and will have to look to their bench to find some players to get on the pitch to do the business but that's looking highly unlikely. Paolo Bianco, Maximiliano Pellegrino and Gianpaolo Bellini are all sidelined due to illness, and Acquafresca, Diego De Ascentis, Ivan Radovanovic, Adriano Ferreira Pinto and Thomas Manfredini all face late fitness tests to see if they can take part in this game. Juventus have the upper hand and will also be under pressure by Inter who is leading the pack and building the lead and will want to get the full 3 points today.
